500 students register for classes of various types seeking greater health
and harmony in their lives, work and relationships, as well as spiritual
growth. We all work on a volunteer basis and enjoy serving those to whom we
can be useful. We are about 80 persons serving in various different ways.

Clarification Process. We welcome knowing about the subjects which interest
you and which you would like to see discussed on our site.
If any of you are interested in participating in a Chat Room on such
subjects as psychological and spiritual growth, let us know so that we can
designate a special time for this.

=> 1. The Power Within Us
The Power to Create
Through His example, Christ gave us the message that there is a great power
within us and that we can do wonders if we believe in ourselves and the
Divine. With that faith we even conquer death.
This divine power is within each of us. We are the temples of the living
God. His power resides within us. Our lesson is to use it properly in
harmony with the universal laws of creation, so as to create harmony in our
personal and communal lives. As manipulators of divine power, we are
co-creators with the Divine.
Until now, we have been doing a poor job of using that power. We have
created a world with a considerable amount of pain, injustice, inequality,
loneliness, violence and famine.
We need to re-find that power again within us, and use it now together with
its proper companion - love. Power without love, as man has used it until
today, is destructive and ugly, similar to many of our cities. Power with
love is harmonious and beautiful like nature.
The Power to Forgive
That power allows us to transcend our «small human egos», which hold on to
our little resentments, hurts and anger. Christ gave us clear message with
his attitude towards those who harmed him. As he spoke these words, «They
know not what they do», he taught us the need to understand.
All negative behaviors are a result of our fear, insecurity and ignorance.
When people harm us with their words or actions, they are acting out of
insecurity and in ignorance of their and our unified divine nature. They are
controlled by their programming and are not capable of doing otherwise.
As we grow into higher levels of consciousness, we will feel more secure and
understand and forgive them. He forgave and prayed for those who killed him.
This message has failed to seep into our hearts, even though two thousand
years have passed since that powerful event.
The other who has done us harm, was simply bringing to us the results of our
past choices, present beliefs and the lessons which we have chosen to learn
at this time. It is a test. It is our opportunity for spiritual growth.
We need to understand that the other is acting out of ignorance, insecurity
and fear.
We need to understand also that this event is happening to us for a reason
to test our wisdom, strength and love.
We have everything to gain by forgiving that person.
We forgive not for the other's sake but for ours. We are the ones who suffer
as long as we do not forgive and forget whatever has happened. We are
immersed in our own negative energy, which deteriorates our emotional
harmony as well as our nervous, endocrine and immune systems.
There is, however, a great difference between suppressing anger and
transcending it through wisdom and love.
In the first case we ignore reality.
In the second case, we need to connect to the Truth.

=> 2. TRUTHS WHICH AID FORGIVENESS
TRUTHS WHICH AID FORGIVENESS
Some truths which will help us forgive others are (some are based on various
spiritual beliefs or Christian concepts which might not be acceptable to you
or the subject):
1. All happens according to a divine plan which brings me exactly what I
need at every stage of my evolutionary process in order to learn the next
lesson.
2. Others are simply actors in my life drama, the script of which I write
daily.
3. Others are the hands of the divine showing me the direction in which I
must go.
4. All are souls in evolution, who act negatively out of ignorance and fear.
5. Forgiving does not mean saying that what the other did was right, it
simply means that I forgive his ignorance and weakness as a fellow soul in
the evolutionary process.
6. Forgiving does not make me vulnerable. Still needing something (security,
affirmation, love ) from the other makes us vulnerable. Forgiving and loving
without needing any thing from the other is my real protection.
7. I am the sole creator of my reality. I abuse others when I hold them
responsible for what I create.
8. I have the power to create my life and need not hide behind excuses that
I cannot because of something which others have done or are doing.
9. As souls in the process of evolution we all make many mistakes. This is
natural. What is unnatural is not forgiving ourselves and others for these
mistakes.
10. The other is a divine creation. Although he may not realize it, the
divine is functioning through him. Not forgiving him, is to not forgive the
divine.
11. We create as much pain in the world when we feel hurt as when we hurt.
12. And the words of Christ
13. "Let he who has not sinned, throw the first stone."
14. "Judge not, that you be not Judged."
15. "You will be judged with the strictness with which you have judged."
16. Peter asked Christ, "How many times should we forgive someone for what
he has done, seven times?" Christ answered, " No Peter, Seven times seventy
times."

Article no. 3 Natural Solutions For Frequent Colds
Some Possible Causes Might Be
1. Poor dietary habits which create a toxic build-up in the body.
2. A lack of proper nutrients.
3. Weakness in the immune system.
4. Emotional problems which suppress the body’s defense.
5. Over use of antibiotics.
6. Viruses - Bacteria.
EFFECTIVE NATURAL SOLUTIONS
We will consider what to do when the symptoms of a cold first appear, what
to do if they continue, and how to build up the overall vitality and harmony
of the body so that one has greater immunity in general.
When First Symptoms Appear
1. Vitamins - Immediately take plenty of vitamin C. You can take about a
total of 3000 mg a day in small doses – say 200 mg at a time, which would
mean 15 tablets a day.
Zinc is also a good immune enhancer. From 20 to 40 mg of Zinc can be taken
daily until the cold subsides.
It is better to take both of these in tablet form so that you can suck on
them and dissolve them in the mouth. In this way, the active power of these
two substances can be absorbed by the cells of the mouth and throat area and
thus strengthening the power of the cells to protect themselves.
2. Immediately cleanse the nostrils (Yogic technique called "Jalaneti") and
gargle with salt. If the cold continues after the first day, then
discontinue the washing of the nostrils but continue 3 or more times a day
gargling with salt or lemon water.
3. Avoid eating solid food, especially cheese, milk and dairy products, as
well as white flour, white sugar and any products made from them. They form
excess mucus, which increases the symptoms of the cold.
4. Drink plenty of liquids especially fresh citric fruit juices: oranges,
lemons, grapefruits, as well as herb teas, and vegetable broth.
5. If you feel very hungry and must eat, then the best food would be a raw
salad or a hot, spicy soup. A very effective soup is onion soup made from
onions, garlic, cayenne pepper, cinnamon and other spices. (Not if you have
ulcers.)
6. For those who are familiar with Yogic stomach cleansing, this is very
effective for removing accumulated mucus from the body. (Not if you have an
ulcer).
7. An enema is also effective in helping the body purify itself of
accumulated toxins.
8. Get plenty of rest and do plenty of deep relaxation. Also perform any
exercises you feel up to doing. They will facilitate the renewal of the
body’s vital energies and thus its ability to heal itself.
9. Keep your body warm and protected from drafts.
10. Shiatsu massage of the neck and head can be miraculously relieving and
beneficial. (Reflexology can be used to free up the sinuses).
IF THE COLD PERSISTS
11. Continue with the vitamins taking up to 3000 mg of C. and up to 30 mg of
Zinc per day until the symptoms disappear. If the cold lasts more than a
week, then you might want to check with a doctor as to why your body is not
healing itself.
Other antioxidants such as vitamins E, A and Selenium and various enzymes
such as Super Dioxide Dismutase call also be very useful.
12. Continue to avoid solid food as much as possible. Drink plenty of juices
and broths. If you feel very hungry, eat raw salad or hot spicy soup.
13. Take occasional hot baths (covering yourself well afterwards).
14. Slow deep breathing will re-energize your body. Breathe as slowly as you
can, letting as little air as possible pass through the nostrils. Gradually
they will open up.
15. Do not continue with the cleaning of the nostrils, but do continue with
frequent gargling.
16. Gentle exercises can open up the nostrils and also the flow of energy in
the body.
17. Use deep relaxation to imagine the body’s defense system healthy and
powerful and invincible.
18. Be happy and relaxed.
